AEJC - TIMINGS AND RULES

SCHOOL TIMINGS

The college has the timings from 7.55 AM to 2.05 PM with a break of 25 minutes duration from 10.05 AM to 10.30 AM and a short break from 12.15 PM to 12.20 PM.

The office timing for the students are from 10.05 AM to 10.30 AM, 12.15 PM to 12.20 PM and 1.30 PM to 3.30 PM.

Every day consist of eight periods and each period is of 40 minutes duration. The school works for six days per week except second saturday.

The college office has the timings from 8.00 AM to 4.30 PM

Rules and Regulations

UNIFORM
  1. BOYS:

    White shirt (Half sleeves, inserted) without shoulder flaps, grey trousers, navy blue neck tie with light blue stripes (diagonal), navy blue canvas belt with brass buckle with school emblem.

  2. GIRLS:

    White salwar and grey kurta without shoulder flaps,white chunni (Duppatta); the sleeves of kurta should be 2" below the elbow. Also kurta should be of knee length size with close neck back.

  3. FOORWEAR:

    Black leather shoes with navy blue socks or white canvas shoes with white socks.

NOTE
  1. Identity card must visibly displayed on self when present in the college premises.

  2. On monday and thursday uniform must be full white and white.

  3. Whenever a student enters the college campus, he/she should be in full college uniform only.

  4. Woolen garments should be of navy blue colour only.

  5. Dress regulations of the college should be strictly observed

  6. A student failing to attend the college in the prescribed unifom WILL NOT be permitted to attend the classes and there is every possibility of losing his/her attendance on this score.

  7. Chappals and sandals are strictly prohibited.

  8. During monsoon (duration will be announced by the college authorities) rainy footwear allowed.

REGULATIONS FOR ATTENDANCE



A student must put in 75% of attendance in all subjects and cumulatively during each term. Also, he/she must satisfy the college in respect of his/her conduct. The college may cancel the admission if his/her conduct is not satisfactory or if he/she is irregular at any time during the term. Period wise/session wise attendance is followed to curb the tendencies relating to absenteeism or late reporting to the class without the permission of the competent authority. A student not fulfilling this criteria may be debarred from appearing in the Board Examination.

COLLEGE TERMS

There will be two terms per academic year

  • I Term : April to September
  • II Term : October to March


Actual dates of commencement and close of said terms are declared by M.S.Board.

IDENTITY CARDS

Every student is expected to obtain an identy card from the college office. The identy card will be issued every year after students surrender the cards issued to them for the previous year. Students are required to carry their identy card when they are in the college campus and must produce it whenever called upon to do so by the authorities. It is obligatory for students to return their identity cards to the college office when they cease to be students of the college. A student ceases to be on the rolls of the college only after issue of the T.C/SLC

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Conduct of the students in their classes as well as in the premises of the college shall be such that it causes no disturbance to fellow students, teachers or to other classes.

  2. Students must not loiter about or congregate in the college premises while the classes are in progress.

  3. Students shall do nothing either inside or outside the college premises while the classes are in progress.

  4. Students must take proper care of the College property and help in keeping premises neat and clean. Any damage done to the property of the college will have to be replaced/rectified by the students concerned.

  5. Students should, in their own interest, read the notices including those containing the rules made by the college/ Board/Government placed on the notice boards from time to time.

  6. If the continuance of a student in the college is detrimental to the best interest or the discipline of the college, the Principal may direct such a student to leave the college. The decision of the college authorities shall be final and binding on the students concerned.

  7. Students joining the college are requested to abide by all the rules, regulations and instructions that may be issued by the college authorities from time to time and to submit the normal enforcement of the same to the satisfaction of the college authorities, whose decision in all matters shall be final and the same shall not be questioned on any ground.

  8. The application form for SYJC to the M.S.Board will not be forwarded in case of those students who do not satisfy the minimum attendance requirement as stated in para above.
